ok im a boy 5 10 130 and i jus recently vaulted 14'3 on a 14 150 pacerfx. i wanna get on a bigger pole but we are a poor school so we dont have many more to choose from. we dont have any 14 6 poles jus heavier 14s and some 15s. the 14 poles we have are all ucs pole 140,145,150,160 and our 15 foot poles are ucs 150 and 160. im a fast runner so i get alot of penetration but idk about the 15 poles. would a heaver 14 pole help me much? or should i try and get on those 15 poles? thanks for the help

Where are your standards when you vault?
How high are you holding on the pole?
Is the pole bending a lot when you vault?

Also, the max hand hold on UCS poles are about 6-7 inches from the top and the max hand hold on Pacers (and all Gill poles) is only an inch or two from the top. So going from a Pacer to a UCS may only raise your grip about 6 inches.
