We use Emory I believe for most of our stuff - we sent poles don to JO in Miami that way - so Miami to AZ should be doable

Delta.............is the first co to ban poles as oversized luggage. They put a whole lot of people in a bind this past yr at Reno. NOW their taking advantage of that with this....................it sounds great BUT remember the alamo!!!

THere are several shippers that will take poles, if you have to fly this is one. If you are just shipping poles EMERY BAXGLOBAL NExt day freight lines, but get a quote first alot of them come back and bill you for another $100.00 for oversize. Delta went to Countainerized freight to Reno nevada and had no more room for poles on their planes according to the people I talked with today about it.
Some cities do not provide this service.

I wasnt pickin..........I just hadnt gotten back to make my suggestions for alternatives..................which you just covered. I turned into a pole travel agent thanks to delta last yr. so YES I was a little bitter with them.
Oh yea and delta does NOT accept poles as oversized checked baggage. Pole MUST fly frt with them, in other words your poles will NOT be on the same plane as you. Its in their baggage section on their website (at least it was a couple of weeks ago).
