My Pole

Unread postby PV Knox » Wed Feb 18, 2004 9:26 am

I named one of those black 12' training poles Bob Marley. I named another one of those poles Widow Maker because a friend of mine busted his arm on the cement (breaking it) trying to jump on that pole. My 13' in the 10th grade, I named instant 12' because my PR was 10' 6" and when I jumped on the pole for the first time, I cleared 12' instantly. My 15' I call Danielle after an old gf. :o

well we have this old school maxim that use to be red and the paint was all nasty and such so my twin and i painted it "color changing paint, ;ile what u see on cars" so that the thing looks black from far away then when u get up to it changes from like blue to purple to green, the thing is a total beast, and it looks hot (sounds kinda werid i know).... my brother and i call it..... Excalibur.... haha

I got a pole about 2 weeks before my district meet my junior year that my coach pawned off some other school. Well the thing was like a 15' 180 i think it was an altius. It had blue and white tape, but looked hideous since it was about 2,000 years old when we finally got it. Good ole blue tiger is what we named it. It was impossible to jump on the thing had no bend.
