altough i am now jumping on pacer carbons cause thats what my school buys.......spirits i would say are the most reliable, consistant poles you can jump on. sure they're un-hightech fiberglass.....but thats what makes them reliable! if you're having problems with spirits its YOU, not THE POLE. Get your run consistent. Get to know what pole you NEED TO BE JUMPING ON. World records and Olympic champions have been jumping on spirits. Its the most popular reliable brand you can jump on. If you're having problems going from 15' to 16' poles on spirits then you're probably jacking your grip up TOO HIGH. there have been plenty of posts on TOO high of grips. read them. cut your poles from the top, and don't jakc up your grip too much, and they will work.

that is one thing the FX line has done is provide reliable consistent poles and transitions between poles - at the top level anyone who makes a bad prodcut will not be around for long - I gave my last Spirit to the local college I used to coach at (wonder why?)
