Now I know these aren't exactly vault specific shoes, but I was reading up on them and the description said they were good for jumps too. I was wondering if anyone has ever used them because I don't really want to get an exactly specific vault spike because I run middle distance too.

I might have had an earlier version of that shoe? I jumped in Asics mid distance spikes for years and years and I loved them.

Last year i vaulted in the asics hypersprint which is basically just a sprint version of that shoe. They worked very well for me but i dont have much experience with jump spikes (i usually just used sprinting spikes) so i cant tell you if theyre better or worse than jump spikes but they're good spikes.
