ESSX Poles

Over Christmas break I had the opportunity to work for Mr. Bruce Caldwell, president of ESSX sport. In that time they showed me what goes into making a great pole. Beto, the engineer of the plant, made sure that ever piece of material that went into each pole was perfect. Every pole has a mathematical plan, calculated in the computer, with exact measurements for the pole. These numbers make the perfect flex and weight for that vaulter purchasing that pole. Every pole that leaves the plant goes through many durability tests; a picture of the flex test, to make sure the pole is durable, is taped on the pole for you to see. If you are looking for a great pole this season that is going to hold up to what ever bends you will put it through then check out ESSX poles. :yes:

Dont take this the wrong way............but EVERY manufac. uses the same protocol..............lots of precautions............exact patterns to hit the mm of flex etc etc.

If you know, I would like to know what program they use for the maping out of the pole, mathimaticly, before they make it.

We have a special program we have made based on the FEA FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS software that measured each pattern and all the test poles.

The information derived from this software was compiled to build the charts and patterns we now use.

The calculations to determine the soft side were done by Beto Marin Sanchez our engineer, he has guaranteed us that we will not have a pole that will twist and the soft side will line up with the curve of the pole within 1/64th of an inch or right on.
