The first half of 14 minute documentary about pole vaulting and the mental aspects athletes must overcome to be successful in the sport. The video features interviews with some of the best up and coming vaulters as well as long time pole vault guru's including Rick Baggett and Fred Arnold. Vaulter interviews include Justin Norberg, Erin Asay, Jon Takahashi, Jessie Gallaher, Melissa Sakowski and Coach Andy Steben.

GREAT videos!!!! I loved these. You can really learn a lot from these, and I agree with a lot of what was said, as well as relate to them as well. A must see!!

I like it because it is a part of pole vault that people who don't vault will not know about...

Becca,

I watched these videos the other day without any problem. Now You Tube says they are private and you must "accept the sender's friend request". Also, I don't know if this has any relationship to the problem, the video links that are displayed when I go to the above links, look like some at least are "adult" entertainment.

If anyone knows how to get around this issue, post it here. I sent these links out to all my HS kids.

I suspect it might be a problem on YouTube's end, but I am not sure. I tried to send the user a message and got an error message from YouTube.

Kudos to Chelsea Sherier on a well produced doc. What a great piece to watch when your in a slump and need some answers to why you are doing this event! Good work

Okay, so I thought this video was pretty kick a** while I was watching it for the first time....AND THEN I saw a clip of myself jumping in it. So now it kicks a** on a whole new level. Hahaha! Totally made my day.
