helmet/camp
ok i got my stuff for the summer camp i am going to and it said i had to waer a helmet, i have never vaulted with a helmet and dont want to but looks like i have to go buy one now do all summer camps make you wear a helmet just wondering

Yeah, Coach Hood insists on helmets. Will not let you vault without one, Period! Anyway you can learn a lot of good things at this camp. but, you really need to pay attention and focus, because it goes fast and their is a lot of critical info that can get lost if your not paying attention. So i'd suggest you take a notepad and after each session write down as much detailed info as you can. It will really help. Good Luck

Just try to make those notes as detailed as possible. IE: Coach Hood will talk about the last 3 steps as toe, flat, jump, this is huge, but the way you process this info and describe it is just as important. But, just to let you know if you do not have proper posture and running form you will not be able to do this correctly.
