music does a better job of distracting me more that anything else. and its illegal to use electronic devices in competition areas at NCAA meets :confused:

it all depends on the 'mood setting' but im normally a rock / classic rock kinda guy... but sometimes a little change like some eminem will get me in the mood, because it's at the point where he's just pissed off enough haha

I don't know why, but Tom Petty? also i like journey. and everybody loves AC/DC (kk, i know not everybody likes AC/DC so u dont have to reply and say "well i dont like AC/DC" u get what i mean.)

tom petty is the greatest cruising music ever. love listening to him in the car or on the bus on the way to track meets...and journey, same thing
