set back for standards on steel poles??

Does anyone out there know the approximate standard set back distance for the steel pole vaulters.
I assume it was much closer to the box ... ??

Also, has anyone heard of there ever being a sort of "retro" vault competition,where only steel or non-fiberglass/carbon poles are allowed ??
It seems that this would be attractive to many vaulters.

First, every vaulter is unique in their standard placement but, vaulters using steel and wood generally did the following:

Low heights: Bar back at least a foot behind the zero line of the box.
Moderate heights: Bar generally around zero.
High heights: Bar generally at zero or slightly in front of the zero line.

Ah, just as I remembered it from back in the day. my setback was 4 to 5 inches with steel pole.
