Gas Prices

Unread postby rainbowgirl28 » Thu Feb 13, 2003 10:15 am

How much is gas where you are? I noticed on my way to school it shot up another 6 cents a gallon since yesterday! So now it is 1.55 by my house... probably an average of 1.60 in my area.

Glad I am not making any long road trips this weekend...

Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Talent in cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.

Yeah where I live in Cali gas is about $2.10 for the cheap stuff (87), and in San Fran gas is about 2.40 for the cheap stuff. I have a regular car and it took $25.00 for 13 gallons.

What is this world comming to. Gas prices above $2.00 what the hell. why can't we go back to the day where a gallon of gas would cost around a dollar. oh well

None of this would be a problem if the car companies and big oil hadn't quashed both public transportation and any real attempt toward alternative energy. If you want to see how bad it can get look at the gasoline prices in Europe, 4 dollars a gallon.
