Truth stranger than fiction.

From the LA Times (you'll have to register for free. So far, I don't think the Times releases any information to anyone):

'Hey, Coach, I Aced the Final!'
NCAA's inquiry into Georgia basketball program turns up a test given by Jim Harrick Jr. that any athlete can pass.

This just proves how corrupt some D1 sports programs are.

as a part of d1 sports I'd have to dissagree, it doesn't prove anything about d1 sports... It is a representation of the poor ethics practiced by the creator of the test.

not all d1 sports were involved in this event, nor were all d1 universities involved.

I happen to know that there are classes not unlike this available at other instituions, that do not involve student athletes at all. think about some of the programs out there.

Thats why I said some sports. And it probably happens at all levels not just D1.

being at a major D1 school, you dont see any corruption in plane view, but there are a lot of things to be noticed. How the many of the key name players stay eligible is a miracle, i hear many players say a lot of things, im not going to name names or point any finger, but there is a lot of stuff that is going on.

and as for it JUST beingd D1, thats not entirely true, there is just more pressure for the D1 schools to do better, the money that floats around is ridiculous. In High school, D2, D3, and D4, there is always something going on, just not noticed or magnified because there is not much money invloved.....
