Need help with technique for meet tomorrow! tips appreciated

Unread postby jeffthecrowna » Wed May 12, 2010 10:52 pm

I know i don't have too much time to fix anything for my meet tomorrow but any quick tips?

I know my arm collapses to early at the plant and i don't have a drive phase at all. I think i need to drop my shoulders too to get my hips higher.

but any last minute tips please?

Thanks,
Jeff

No ... no last minute tips ... other than just relax, and do your best ... like every other meet or practice ... and do "what comes naturally". I fear that if you try to actually CHANGE anything ... without having practiced it ... it's going to screw you up more than help you.

BTW, I'll bet you only study for exams the night before too ... eh? :dazed: ;)

but if you do want to change one thing that will probably fix a lot more without u having to think about them...

stop looking at the crossbar! leave the ground and do what you gotta do, you can glance at it as u turn over it, but it ain't going anywhere, so looking at it is just getting you stuck sitting up. Just keep the body moving up and off top of the pole and quit staring.
