sup, I need some critique on my jump, please tell me what I'm doin wrong, what I'm doing right, and things I can do to improve. This is my second full season of pole vaulting and I weigh 170 and am on a 13 foot 175 Pacer in this vid. I wanna get better, so any help is greatly appreciated... thanks in advance. By the way, this is an attempt at 11 ft. I broke that pole on the next jump at 11' 6'' but I dont have a video of that unfortunately. Equally as unfortuante is that my school doesnt have a large selection of poles for someone of my body weight. I am stuck with poles that are 13 ft or shorter with low flex ratings. There is a 14ft pole, but it is 180 with a ridiculous flex rating and I cant get on it. Any advice or ideas?

Wazzup Eastern Time! :P ...

Ok, do some browsing on here for things to do with pole runs, carrying the pole, and the basics of the plant. Getting even just a little bit of all that stuff is a good place to start. Have you purchased BTB2 yet?

BTB2 = Beginner to Bubka 2, its a pole vault book. you can get in online here: http://www.polevaultpower.com/store/
Its really a very useful book! I would definitely suggest investing in it!
You have a lot of different things to work on, and the book (as well as this forum!) is a real useful tool that you can use to gain more knowledge of what to look for on your own videos, and drills on how to fix it.
