Unread postby vaultnaked352 » Wed Apr 02, 2008 11:30 pm

This was both of the sessions we had 2day. It was a slow day, light jumps on my small pole (155lbs Pacer 15' griping 13'7) Then in the second session much later in the day, I tried getting on my bigger pole. I eventually did but my friend's cmera died :D Its a 15'6 165lbs Carbon Fx. I kno i am under but please let me kno if u see anything else. THANX!!

you need to stop landing with your head facing the runway... if you dont make it in good your going to smack your face on the box!

I agree... not super safe although some of the elites do it but they've been around a bit longer...

You have what appears to be a perfectly good set of standard base protectors and yet they are not protecting anything! All it takes is one bad jump and you could be seriously injured.

You are fortunate enough to have good equipment at your disposal, please use it properly before someone gets hurt.

And again in the second video, perfectly good base protectors are in front of the pit instead of covering the bases like they should be :crying: :crying:

Are all of those clips from your morning practice? If they are I couldn't imagine coming back later in the day to vault again. You starting looking sloppy towards the end of the video. If you are having a double practice, try to spread out your jumps more or try to stick to pop-ups with correct form for one of the practices.

If you have 2 practices a day, or a practice and a meet in the same day, definitely do not vault in both

Looks to me like you can get off your stick earlier from the vault in competition. You already had height for the bar...let go of your pole so it doesn't kill your momentum over the bar.
Height: 5'7

Weight: 147 lbs

Pole : UCS 15' 175 lbs

Handhold: 14'4

PR: 4.92 m
