great take off and swing, way better than mine ever is. but your going over the bar on your back. when you turn, turn around the pole, and have you shoe laces go over the bar first.

to practice, what i did, is hold really low on a small pole, go from like 4 strides, and try to land on your stomach on the pit. the jump will happen way faster, but as long as you try to land on your stomach facing back down the runway, it'll work. do some of those, then when you get good, transfer that to your long run. it worked for me
good luck

It looks like a pretty good jump overall, but I would work on getting that plant up a tad earlier, then swinging back farther on the pole. Even with that jump, though, you need a bigger pole.

You definitely need to turn sooner. You didnt really finish your turn until after you already hit the crossbar.
Your plant looked fine and you rowed fine, but at the top also try not to sit piked as long as you do. Swing your feet up and as soon as you get in that position extend your back keeping your body along the pole and start your turn then. This way you will be fully turned by the time you reach the crossbar, allowing you to get as much height as you possibly can.

when he says you need a bigger pole, he just means go up weights, same length- just go up 5 or 10 pounds at a time, 5 if you have the poles...
