This was my 1st invitational
I ended w/ with 5th Place (I definately could have done better) w/ a vault of 11'6" (I just wanted to place & get out of there, i was freezing!)
The videos go 10'6", 11'0", 11'6"
Well the weather was really crappy... it was in the low 30's w/ wind at times & even snowed a few times (it really shouldn't be like this in APRIL!!)
Senior
130lbs
5'6"
Pole(s): 12'6" 130lb Pacer FX (used in videos) - run is from 4 lefts
14'0" 130lb UCS Spirit (not used due to crappy weather)
PR - 13'0" using 14'0" 130lb UCS Spirit - holding at 13'0"

10'6"

What I Noticed:
- Not jumping enough at plant
- Not keeping trail leg back long enough & essentially not a good swing
- Not finishing my turn at the top - i think i just got lazy more than anything
- Collapsing bottom arm

Tell me anything else that you see wrong!!
Sorry the person taking the video didnt really do a good job... and there's a guy that always gets in the way of the plant

It looks like your plant is pretty good, but continue to drive your knee to your chest and swing your trail leg faster. Ideally, your body should be vertical just before the pole is strait. If you can, try getting on some bigger poles. I keep telling myself to swing faster and one of these days my legs should catch up with my mind.
Keep working at it!

doesn't seem as if you are finishing your vault... I don't have enough knowledge of my own to help you out there, I can just notice things and point them out... =/

if you turn on your way up more so then you are, you'll be able to pike and hollow out on top for a little more height there.

good luck
