hah no its my fault i should have specified, we do polevault specific manuvers in the deep end with a 14ft older pole, we go under the water and preform the vault! its alot of fun and helps you feel body position.

Not as much as a high bar does!!!

Sorry to be a spoilsport! ;) Just had to re-emphasize the whole point of the pool being mainly for 'fun'...

Just make sure to keep your priorities in line. :yes:

If that's part of your regular workouts, then so be it. :confused:

Just don't do anything "unusual" that will excercise muscles differently than what your body is used to. Now is not the time to be experimenting with new drills that may give you sore muscles that are unrelated to the muscles you need for PV.

But I do agree that highbar drills are a better use of your time than pool vaulting. :yes:
