Junior , 130lbs on a 13'3 135 carbon altius
Pole. He is holding at 12'10
One of the videos is him clearing 9'6 and the other is him attempting 10'. I know his top arm he needs to work on, but Im looking for advice on why it seems to dump him off in the second video and what to work with him on. I think he needs to lower his grip or go on a stiffer pole until he can fix his technique but a coach today told him he should go up to a 14' pole. So just looking for some other opinions.

Its really hard to see what he is doing because of where the camera is. Try filming from the side, and about 5-10' back from the bar.
I think on the first video I'm seeing a top arm that is not straight, and if so, plant drills are the place to start. Better video, please.
