When I plant, my bottom arm always becomes bent and I get "fiber faced."
When I look at videos of pros and other elite vaulters their bottom arm is always high over there head like it should be i think like these guys:

When I pause at the plant, my bottom arm is clearly bent and near my face.
I'm thinking of going on a small pole and running from 4 to 5 lefts just planting and holding the drive position while focusing on having that bottom arm up and slowly moving up poles from there before practicing my full vaults. Any other suggestions for this problem?
