So this is my second year vaulting and i finally hit the 4.90 mark! Need to clean up technique alot!
Holding about 15' 3" on a 15'7" 185 pole.

Here we go again with black magic coaching! But what the heck --- you are doing some things pretty well -especially if you are a second year vaulter! Two things that could make an immediate impact - if you can alter them -1. the left leg needs to whip straight and carry on over your head without flexing and 2. having got back on the pole you need to drive your shoulders under your hips earlier to get into a vertical position on the pole. It is black magic so hope these comments make some sort of sense to you. Al

Yeah it makes sense. Its just a matter of spending some practices really drilling a straight trail leg and dropping my shoulders. Just gotta feel that part out.
