Thank You. This is all we were trying to say. Hands High, High Plant, Pressur upwards = Pushing pole to vert. This is a technique derived from stiff pole vaulting. So I absolutely agree with BethelPV.
Also VaultPurple I do disagree with your comment:
"it does make the pole bend alot easier, but no it does not let you go inverted properly because your arm gets in the way and you are behind the pole instead of infront of it so you can not go upside down... "
I believe if the "high-hands" are executed properly. (high hands= chest drive= increased C position= increased swing) when u are at the point of swinging up the pole should already be "rolled out" or "warped out" . Which means tht the hands would not be in the way of the legs/chest/body which would allow for a proper rock-back (invert) Also keeping the arms unbent and hanging back/ shifting weight/ or pivoting off the shoulders during the rockback (invert) allows for a proper and strong invert. just my thoughts lemme kno what u think
