To say you should DISREGARD positions is stating it far too strongly. You HAVE to look at them ... in CONTEXT ... but just on video ... not in your mind's eye.


Yes I was having trouble thinking of a good way to put it... I was going to say 'ignore' but I thought that was even worse!

On the runway (or doing drills) the athlete should never think 'be in this position', it should be 'DO this'.

If the athlete is in a poor 'position' during a moment (on film), then the ACTION they are performing is incorrect. :yes:
