vaulting in the cold

Unread postby tylerd1994 » Thu Mar 24, 2011 10:42 pm

So our first track meet is this tuesday. (awesome) But its supposed to be around 38 degrees with a wintery mix. Should be interesting. I was wondering what some of you guys do when the weather is cold and nasty to stay warmed up and get good jumps in? how do you prepare

Get a bunch of those pocket hand warmers, and move around a LOT. Make sure to eat and drink a lot because it takes a lot of energy to stay warm. Keep your poles dry.
