Do you want to go straight up the pole?

Do you want to go straight up the pole?
Now this only works if you are on a pole stiffer than your weight and you are jumping over your handgrip!
If not you have other things to work on first!
We always want to turn then pull and we find ourselves pulling toward our shoulders!
And when you look a videos of others that is what it looks like, however the action should be pull to the neck then turn as your hips rise.
What happens is you will pull to the neck and your shoulders and back will elongate ,thus lifting the hips during the weightless postoning of the vault!
You will go straight up the pole and your hips will be higher a goal we all are looking for!
Pulling to the sholders turns us into the bar and the feet and hips start desending too early!
Sounds simple? It is try it!
