New Pole

Unread postby yankee814 » Wed May 05, 2010 10:16 pm

Alright so I hope most of you have seen my unfortunate pole break on the video review forum...
Well, i was on 13'6" 140 Pacer that snapped close to the top, obviously not a result of misuse, probably a crack or something in the pole itself

anyway, my coach said that he's going to order a new pole, ANYONE THAT I WANT, soon.
I was wondering what kind of pole people's preferences are, Pacers, Skypoles, or UCS Spirit.

Also, should i just get the same pole or a slightly different one? The poles my school have require a medium between our 13' 150 and our 14' 140 (Which I am definitely not ready to be on)

I held the 13'6" at 12'6" and have been jumping 11'6" for the better part of this season

Help please!

p.s. I am 5'7" 131 lbs

What do you need out of the new pole? How is your current pole not correct? Video of a typical jump (not the broken pole vid) on the pole that you normally use would be helpful.

Poles that snap near the top are almost always the result of the pole banging the standard during a jump... or less commonly damage during shipping. Both of which count as misuse.
