stopping on a run?

stopping on a run?

I've a highschool vaulter and I've been vaulting for 3 years now.
I keep having problems with stopping right after I drop my pole.
I'm clearing 6' sometimes 6' 6" but im basically just jumping it.
Does anyone have anything that could help me not to stop?

What is your coaching situation? How often do you practice and what do you do?
