I am 6 feet tall and weigh 155 pounds. I am using a 175 14' pacer from 7 steps and am blowing through it while capping it. I want to get a 15 foot pole, but don't know which pole I need to get. any suggestions?
Also, i can invert just fine on my 3 step pole, but once i get to bigger poles and more steps, i end up sitting in a V shape with my feet up and my head looking at the crossbar. I don't know how I can fix this since i do inversion drills just fine. I feel that i'm afraid or something to completely invert for fear that I'm not pushing the pole to vertical and I may not make it into the pit. So I end up kicking up at the crossbar and getting to like 45 degrees inversion. I know that i need to swing through and bring my hips above my head but i end up dropping them, and I just can't fix this problem. Any suggestions?
---------------
I should also add that I jump from 6 steps with a 165 15' carbon essex. I can't hold any higher because I might break it.
Next pole? and inverting with larger poles?

Study this to see how much bigger the next pole is: http://www.skyjumpers.com/articles/pvpr ... table.html
I'd go with a 14'6 175 before moving to the 15' poles.
If you are having trouble finishing your swing, you might be overgripping. If you can do it fine from 3 lefts, back up to 4 and stay there until you can do it, then 5, etc.

My coach just borrowed a 15' 175 spirit pole. I used it from 7 steps holding at 14 and was able to penetrate but barely past about 16 inches on the standards.
