Signs the pole is too short

Unread postby ArcadiaPV » Sun Mar 15, 2009 6:38 pm

I have a high school boy who is holding at the highschool limit on 14'1 spirit poles(165,170,175). He feels like he cant swing up all the way on them, yet he is blowing through at the same time. His step is where it is supposed to be as well. It is frustrating him to death and I'm thinking this means its time to move up to the 15s. let me know what you all think.

If the pole is too short/grip is too low, there will be little bend and quick pole rotation.
