Start with an easy to clear bungee, and keep raising it 6 inches at a time until you can no longer touch it, then bring it back down to where you can get your feet over it, then raise it by 2 inches at a time until you can't get it, then come back down until you can, then raise it by one inch at a time until you're maxed out.
Then put a bar up up 3 feet below it, but only concentrate on lining up for the bungee, and work the bar up 6 inches at a time. You have to get your focus off of the bar and on a higher target to reach your feet for.
Also, as you attempt to kick the top of the pole, press your hands up and forward and try to smash your shins with your hands, but pull your toes back and shrug your shoulders back towards the ground so your hips will extend up the pole.

i couldnt get any full runs since im injured, and wont until next week, but i did some dhort run stuff today and tried what you all said... it worked pretty good, i was gettign mroe inverted before going at the bar, but i was still coming off a bit earley. it seems like i need to delay my pull and turn just a biiit longer to give me the proper positioning, how can i do that? im not sure how to delay any longer at the top, i just kinda kick out at the bar earley without thinking
