bigger pole?

im on a 15'7 155lb spirit pole i wiegh 150lb i bench 185lb and run a 11.3 100m. i am only jumpin 14'6 on the pole. i am looking to get a 16'1 160lb spirit. good idea or bad? i want to be jumping in the 16s by state in three weeks.
