Darren Neidermeyer won the Elite Reno Vault Summit Competition. He equalled his all time personal best by clearing 5.60 (18'4" 1/2). Darren trains at North Central College and vaults for the Cardinal Vault Club. Those who train with him are not surprised at the results. Darren represented himself, Illinois and the Cardinal Vault Club very well. Great Job Darren!

"Darren trains at North Central College" Heard that that coach at North Central College is so "obsessed" with the pole vault that he has everyone in his family (except his wife) vaulting !! LOL

Great job - I'm sure if Coach Winder is involved the results will "happen"

Coach Winder is a very good coach and he keeps the technique simple. I believe the vault is more of a passion than an obsession for him;)
