yeah you should be able to just you will have to pay for it yourself...thats usually the college's concern when sending people is they dont want to spend the money

Most of it is because the meet is not a sanctioned event anymore. I heard alot of colleges pulling out. LB

you'll just be unattached and can't complete in anything that has your school's name on it. Just register for the college division. I did that during my redshirt year back in 98

I think its still USATF sanctioned, but the NCAA doesn't recognize the marks. There has to be an actual meet going on in conjunction with the competition. There are a couple of other threads about this, but I'm too lazt to find them right now.....

Yeah Adam they wouldn't let me jump for the school last year either. Turned out to be a good thing when I transferred ;)

Last year they put a lot of the unattached college people in the open division. *shrug* It doesn't really make a big difference, because you're still jumping against people who are the same ability. Since you are pretty good, they might stick you in the first or second college group anyway.

Hopefully I will get to jump against you again. It was fun at AOC. My college wont send us either, but I might be able to make it if I can raise some money for it!! Good Luck this year!!

Well, my college isn't sending me, but i don't know if I'm allowed to go under their name or not... it's not like they're saying "no, you can't go compete under us"... they don't even know...lol

I got a good question. as of right now I'd be arriving in reno on a late flight, getting in around 11:30, I think it was... when does the shuttle service stop for the night? because I need to get to the hilton somehow...lol
