How much does such a trip cost? excluding the plane flight...I can figure that out myself...just curious as to how much it costs to go to Reno...

I want to go next year...so as long as I have the money, I'm up for it :)

Plus it would be nice to go with some people I know (a vaulter or two from Fitchburg State)...and they asked me if I wanted to go, so I'm up for it defintely this year :) Just need to know the costs atleast.

60 $ for entry
200-250 Hotel ( this is a rough estimate- and this could be split up as many ways as you want depending how many people stay in that room)
70 $ -food- ( food is expensive, if you bring lots of snacks then it will cut down, but most of the restaurants are a lil pricey)

You can add whatever you want ( ex.- Meet shirt, souveniers, other track items sold ....etc)

Its not a cheap trip, but its 100 % worth the money. Just set aside a couple paychecks for the trip.... hope this helps :D

Don't forget $100-200 for the casino's. Maybe if you are a high roller they will give you a room for free. Also, check out the hotels all you can eat buffets, they are like $20 on weekends but only $7-8 on the weekdays, and well worth it.

lol, I won't be going to the casinos...I'm not too into gambling. When I do get the occasional scratch ticket, I lose, so I doubt I'm lucky enough for the casinos...lol

But thanks you too...Time to ask my parents for my christmas present ;);)

Rooms are about $50.00 - $80.00 per night depending where you stay.
Check the Hilton Casino is the host casino, Peppermill Casino is nearby and Atlantis Casino and even cheaper the Circus Circus. buffets range about $12.00 - $15.00 for dinner on weekends and cheaper at breakfast and lunch. plan ahead to get the best room rates (internet price is great)

It would be really inconvienent to stay anywhere besides the Hilton. Then you'd have to pay for a cab or rental car, unless you drove to Reno.

In the past, I think the Hilton has offered $70 a night for Summit attendees. That is always subject to change of course.
