for an outstanding performance once again in providing a pole vaulting summit for the vaulting community. It is a lot of work to have these events.

UCS never gets the results up until a couple days after....

They told me they would try to have the full results up around Monday.

I can tell you about some results....
HS Girls 1 Brittany Lawrence 12' 2"
HS Boys 1 Ty Barrington 17' something...1?
College Girls 1 Jenny Green 13'9" She double PR'd at 13'4" and 13'9"!
College Girls 2 Stevie Marshalek 13'1 PR
Beginner Boys SAMMY BELL 10'6" (GO SAMMY!!!) Earl's middle son..7th grade
And a guy from Japan broke the Japanese indoor record at 18'8" or 19'
Chelsea Johnson jumped on stage and pr'd at 14' or 14'1! April Steiner jumped on stage and jumped 14'!! :yes:

He Vaulted 18'8"
He then attempted 19' and called it quits after one jump.
He looked awsome!

Open Men's 3:

2nd: Francisco Leon of Peru, setting a new Peruvian National Record of 5.10m, bettering his old record of 5.03m, with some good close shots at 5.20m. He is a junior at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX, DII.

Yeah, I saw that. He is doing good. That was the last thing going in the summit and that was one of the better parts of it.

Hell, that WAS the best part of it for me! What could be more fun than bartending with Jan while drinking a Tecate, coaching Francisco, and watching the crowd go wild for Simon Arkell (the left handed world record holder at 5.80) attempting 4.60. Alongside on Pit 2 was Gary Hunter attempting a master's world record of 4.80m, and looking damn good doing it! Among the crowd was Dean and Jill Starkey, the Bell Athletics crew, Peter McGinnis, Jason Hinkin, official Anthony Curran and the No Limit crew, Skyjumpers crew, Lone Star crew, Pat Manson and Scott Huffman, John Besmer, Brooks Morris, Pete Kovacs. There was more energy in that room at 11:30 at night than there was during the entire elite competition.
