Last weekend, during the second Rens Blom Foundation weekend, we had a tryout of a pole vault challenge. During 5 minutes a team of two persons had to jump as much times as possible over the crossbar against an other team. You had to choose a height, approximately 2 feet below your personal best, witch during the 5 minutes may not be changed. When missing your height, you have to place the crossbar on it’s place by yourself. The boy's who won jumped 21 times over the crossbar during the 5 minutes. PB’s 3.40 m. & 3.61 m. and the crossbar was on 3.00 m. In RENO on all the pits it will probably look great.
