Piwowarska was born in 1983. Last year she ended with PB 4.21
During winter 2006 she improved to 4.30 and at her first start this spring
she cleared 4.40(Warsaw, May 7th)
In Doha Joanna set her PB three times(4.43, 4.48, 4.53)
She's now better than Kasprzak(4.40) seen up to now as future replacement
for reigning Pyrek-Rogowska duo

Did you notice that there is amazing number of good American women pole vaulters with Polish names? Stuczynski, Dudek, Buczko, Chmielewski, Maskulinski, Rudy, Sakowski. All over 3.80, not counting Oliwia Kalinowski (3.85 this year) preserving the Polish citizenship although she's studyimg in USA

Asia Piwowarska is young and she has a lot of opportiunities that is why I think that it is not her last word in this summer season!!! I know her personaly she is like sister for me and I will support her for whol season and I hope that Poland will be proud of her and I am sure that Asia beside Monika Pyrek and Ania Rogowska will be eminet pole vaulter during europen championship in this season I hope so !!!!!
