Im supprised with Ebbie Metzinger. I was practicing once and she was there, She was jumping a bungee at 15 and a few times she had a few inches on it. I figured she would at least be jumping 15 in meets by now.

I think I'm bad luck for her. She's NH'd the only 2 meets I've ever seen her at ;)

I thought bungees never fell? How could one judge a jump with an obsticle that never falls? *scratches head*

Ebbie's a stud. she's got all the physical tools to be a 4.60m+ jumper. I don't kow where she is training right now...but if she was training with Earl or someone like that...she'd be up there

When I was at practice with her it was at Mt Sac and Brian said that she had been jumping there for a few weeks. She has some massive legs you cant really tell in the pictures though.

Yes Beam, bungees suck arse. I do not believe a single bungee story I hear. Think of all the times you have heard a 5m jumper tell you he cleared 5.50 clean--with a bungee. BS and the next meet they manage 4.90. Hmmmmm.....whatever makes you happy. End of Rant....pointed at nobody in case anyone wondered.

yeah, i love it when people can poke their toes over a bungee and then try to say they cleared it..
What have you done today to get better?

She cleared the bungee by a few inches and eventhough it doesent fall it does move if you hit it. and when she went over it, it didnt move. so she should be able to jump at least high 14s which I havent heard of her doing in a meet.

did she actually break the cross bar while it was still on the pegs? I don't think i've ever seen that. usually it break when landing on it in the pit.
