Renaud Lavillenie jumped 5.93 in french national championships in Aubiere (17/02).

He said he was surprised at 5.77 when a pole he used to jump 6m with in the past, was too soft. Also, Galfione as TV consultant said he changed something in his run, shifting his 6 steps mark from 17.30 to 17.50 (I know some of the forum members like this kind of info), giving him more power.
2nd is Stanley Joseph (22 y. old) with 5.62 and third Romain Mesnil with also 5.62. The latter is 35 and said on his website it was his last national indoor championships.
