German Pole Vault Symposium in March

A colleague of mine just returned from Cologne, Germany and brought back a flyer advertising this Pole Vault Symposium on March 12-14, 2004 at the German Sport University in Cologne. It looks like the Germans have been so impressed with our Pole Vault Summit that they are going to hold their own!

Here is an excerpt from the flyer:

"Practice meets Science-
This is the slogan of the first symposium on pole vault held at the German Sport University.
Internationally well known coaches, athletes and sport scientists will present their knowledge and their visions.
Lectures, workshops, practical demonstrations and round table discussions will characterize the sympoium which addresses athletes as well as coaches, teachers and scientists."

Coaches presenting include: Czingon, Klima, and Petrov
Athletes presenting include: Annika Becker, Buschbaum, Borgeling, Lobinger, Stolle
