A huge part of Bubka's legacy is that his legacy is one of enduring proportions, meaning no one has even come close to eclipsing his accomplishments in 20+ years, and argueably, no one in the history of the sport comes close either. Isinbayeva's accomplishments will have to endure for 20+ years to leave a similar legacy. But I will say, she has one legacy that appears to be the same as Bubka's; that being the same cynical, greed-centered approach to World Records.
