Could you possibly elaborate on these body posture strengthening excersizes you're doing? It seems like that stuff would really help with a smooth consistant run.

everyone should see this stuff. It's all in the gymnastics conditioning curriculum with USA Gymnastics (except of course the PV Stuff). Get your local level 10 mens gymnastics coach to give you a 2 hour clinic on body poster and alignment. Real good stuff.

A twenty-to minute video of a gymnastic training for pole vaulters. 100 mb and the download site is not very fast.

It is almost time to go home now. We ARE Actually ready to go home, brain overload. The experience here with Petrov has been a been a great one. We have learned so much and he has probably only tought us the basics. Today is a rest day for us and then we jump with him on Saturday. We are jumping from 14 steps, just trying to focus on what he tells us. This is the last post from Formia and just to sum it all up, "you must leave your ego at the gates, because it is a humbling experience".

See ya

hey

any chance someone can check "MID'S" (6 steps from the box) and corresponding grips on everyones best jumps??

it doesn't matter if it's from a shorter run... the "MID" should be somewhere around 50 feet..

 to altius and tell robbie to say hi to his dad for me..

can't wait for the full feedback...

I got a plug-in error. Argh! I really want to see this video. Can anyone help me?

Forgot to mention that I already have the latest version of Quicktime and Internet Explorer. Is there a patch I need, or something like that?

You might try downloading the entire group of files (the last link on the page), and then unzip them into a directory. Sometimes files run better from your own hard drive than from a web page. The link below should be the same as the one I am referring to.
