HIGH-flying teenager Sally Scott smashed her own British under-20 pole vault record in a competition in Tours, France.
The 17-year-old Gateshead Harrier has been in superb form this year, clearing four metres four times – and last month took the British record to 4:06 metres in Manchester.
However, Scott raised the bar to a phenomenal 4:14 metres, which is a height only nine British senior women have bettered and is only 32 centimetres short of Kate Dennison's UK record.
