We are in need of some 5.00m+ men for the following meets, which are money meets (prize money listed is in $Can):

1. Lafarge Abbotsford International (Tuesday, June 17)
Website: http://international.valleyroyals.org/
Prize money: $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd, +$250 for a venue record (5.60m by Jeff Hartwig)
Details: This is where I train... the weather should be good at this time of the year, and we can adjust the runway direction for prevailing winds.

2. Victoria International Track Classic (Thursday, June 19)
Website: http://www.trackclassic.com/
Prize Money: Typically $750, $500, $250 if the field is international... we've got two or three Canadians, we just need some American (or other) entries
Details: Men's vault comes before the women, so we won't freeze our butts off... last time men went first, I PR'd there... vault is in front of the grandstand, which generally gets filled with about 5000 fans. So if you want some money and a PR, sign up for this meet!

3. Harry Jerome International Track Classic (Saturday, June 21)
Website: http://www.harryjerome.com/
Prize Money: None for the guys that I know of, unless someone wants to try to convice the meet directors otherwise.
Details: Good place to jump... they're putting the vault in front of the grandstands again, so it could be good... just don't expect to cash in on prize money.

Any takers? Email me if you have any questions, or visit the websites I've listed. Entries will probably be accepted right up until the meet, but try to get in this week if you're interested.

Last chance to get into these upcoming Canadian meets! Next Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday... a very good potential competition camp! Women's events are full, but we desperately need guys... I will buy beers for any guys you come up from the US!

Abbotsford and Victoria have prize money and great FREE FOOD afterwards. The one in Burnaby (the Harry Jerome meet) doesn't have money (or food even I think), but don't forget about my offer of beer!

Okay, well I'm thirsty now! Hope some of you can join me for a couple of cool ones post-competition.

Cheers!
