Trying to Survive!

Unread postby izzystikchik » Sun May 14, 2006 1:08 am

Long story short:

Broke my ankle at University of Iowa meet three weeks ago...

Chipped Talus bone, lay men's terms, i can't vault until i get a screw in my foot...

My university, now in the dog house with me, promised to get my surgery done, but then at the last second decided to pull out their insurance policy crap on me. And now I'm screwed over looking for a specific athlete surgeon so i can get back to it. Thank goodness I got a medical redshirt, or at least i hope the school can do that at least for me

Proposition: I am basically a cripple right now, but i'm still doing exercises, what else should i do to keep what i have in shape?
It looks i won't walk anytime till July...
Thanks,
Liz
