I usually hang out w/ the sprinters (have good vault practice 2 days b4 meet)....we usually have a nice warmup, stretch, do drills, a couple buildups, then yoga or something light like that

do our normal warm up. run a mile warm up, do our other warm up things. then do a distance work out....then do some vault drills and some pop ups....pretty much a normal practice, except abit less for polevault

We usually warm-up, stretch, do the sprinter workout, and then do some rollbacks. I've learned the hard way not to do many full vaults the day befoe a meet.

its a little different depending on how long your approach is but for a serious meet if your a 7 or 8 left (or right) vaulter. here is what i recommend. (this will be done for a saturday meet as it is easiest to relate too) again this is for a SERIOUS meet. if your still in a training phase, you can adjust accordinglingly

Wednesday - Vault, lift

THursday - Light to medium sprint workout (something like a few sixties (fast), and some pole runs, couple light 100's)

Friday - jog, just about 7 or 8 minutes, good stretching routine, few light strides, more stretching

Saturday - compete
