Its the practice before our league's and during practice i am working on a new pole that we just got in, showed up halfway through practice, but anyways. It kicked my but a bit and i smacked my leg against the pole. I kept practicing but my calf got stiffer and stiffer. When i got home it got to the point where it was painful to walk. I tried to massage it out, but that really didn't help.. Any body have anything to help.... i'm willing to try home remedies if necessary... O ya our league's meet is tommorrow

why would you practice a day before an important meet. I don't understand. It will effect the height and over all performance that you have. I would take some pain reliver and use a heating pad.

Ya, i know that we are supposed to hold back, but i'm looking to see the results in a few week. I'm healthy enough to vault well 2nite and make several jumps at a new P.R. I'll pass the information onto my coach. He is our high school wrestling coach and has limited polevault knowledge.

Also i talked to a chiropractor last night since it was injury induced. He was able to help alot with the stretching and pain, and even added some more stretches to make sure my legs are completely warmed up.
