Looking for Drill Information in One place

Can someone point me to a resource that will explain the purpose of the various pole vault drills? For example, what skills are improved by stiff pole drills, one-arm drills, toothpicks, etc.

This is jan johnsons' club page. It has a lot of different drills and explanations. Hope this is along the lines of what you're looking for. I'm not sure of any other places. I just remember watching some of the drills on this site to get a better idea of how I'm supposed to be doing them.

You might find a copy of Beginner to Bubka and its dvd useful -you can get both from Becca or Baggett. ;)

Alan, You beat me to it. Clinton, the best source out there at any level is BTB. Does that mean once you've got it and read it and started to apply it that your search is over? No. On the other hand, if you had the choice of only one source for reference, this would be it...........Later................Mike
