Good workout routine?

Ok, I think my coach is a little crazy when it comes to gymnastics work. I am at their gym more than they are. He has me do the following workout every day.
5 leg lifts
swinging on bar w/ lead leg up, while trying to not to brake at the hips
5 leg lifts
swinging on bar w/ lead leg up, while trying to not to brake at the hips

Hanging on the even bars in an L shape. (5X)
10 handstands, where I try to balance myself
5 "pop-ups" on the lower bar of the uneven bars. (2X)
I do this routine 3x. We're doing this b/c I am trying to kip, which should help me get vertical. I think so far the work has helped. Then when finished I do 3-step drills with the pole. then Pole bending, and then fast foot drills.
Some days I'll do running/sprints , and less gymnastics.
Is this a good workout. I have problems with pushing up on the pole when i take off, and my trail leg brakes sometimes instead of swinging straight.
