I've got one week.

A forum to discuss overall training techniques, nutrition, injuries, etc. Discussion of actual pole vault technique should go in the Technique forum.

Alright, I've got one week to prepare for an open meet at the local college. Haven't vaulted since last summer. Theres no time or means to get any actual vaults in, what do you reccomend I do to best prepare myself. Drill wise.

Thanks
vaulting is merely skydiving at low altitude

I don't know about you, but I'm a really visual learner. So, in addition to the pole runs, bubkas, and slide boxes, I would watch some films of vaults and go through the vault in your mind...doesn't match your muscles going through the motions, but it's a good way to practice the entire vault when you don't have a set of pits and a runway.
